<description>Hi, I have been making cold pressed soap for 4 months now and found the Majestic Mountain Sage website www.thesage.com lye calculator of great value. Any one can use this calculator, all you do is put in the weights of the oils you want to use and it will tell you how much water &#38; sodium hydroxide to use to make your lye for the weight of oils you wish to use. I use a 6% lye discount when making my soap and my customers love my soap. I found that my daughter who has eczema and son who has dermitis can both use my soap without it dry their skin. I would recommend the MMS lye calcultor to anyone who wishes to design their own soap even for the first time makers like I was 4 months ago.
Merry Christmas and have fun making soap.
